I have been to my first MakerSpace today. It is located in a Café called "The Factory Café" (
https://www.facebook.com/thefactorycafe) here in Durban. It includes a Café with great coffee and food being served by great baristas, friendly and helpful in every aspect. But what is even more interesting is the MakerSpace: the back of the Café is open for artists of all caliber and kind. There I have encountered my first live 3D printer and saw a bunch of other interesting works of art in progress or finished. Also several events take place at the venue, including live music, pop-up shops, etc. All in all it is a very nice place to just hang out, get some work done, become creative or simply have a coffee.
